Sam Foti is responsible for the operational, financial and sales function of The MONY Group inc. MONY’s international subsidiaries and non-insurance subsidiaries also report to him, for example, Enterprise Capital Management. He has bought the company to new heights by contributing in many diverse areas, especially distribution channels and expanding beyond the career agency system.
Samuel J. Foti has been the driving force behind MONY for many years now. He has his contributions in many other fields, in addition the ones mentioned earlier. He played a vital role in the company’s demutualization. Demutualization is the process that allows privately owned mutual life insurance company to go public. This practice has also attracted other players in the industry who have followed suit.
Besides, he also expanded the product line of the company. He diversified services and possible revenue generation sources. Among other things, he orchestrated the acquisition of U.S. Financial Life Insurance Co. and Trusted Advisors Inc. He also led the company in segmenting its career agency system. This is another practice initiated by MONY and emulated by other companies in the industry. MONY owes much of its success to Samuel Foti .
